ARISE Consumer Council

As an Independent Living Center, ARISE is run by and for people with disabilities, and people with disabilities are extensively involved in helping make decisions regarding policies and service delivery. Why? Because one of the core ideas of the independent living philosophy is the belief that people with disabilities know best what supports are needed to live independently.

ARISE’s Consumer Council plays an important role by providing input on the agency’s advocacy strategies, policies, and service delivery. We encourage you to consider getting involved in helping shape ARISE’s future!
