NYS Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program
ARISE’s Long-Term Care Ombudsman advocate for the rights of people living in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Ombudsman also encourage and support residents and their families to advocate for themselves. Ombudsman work to actively investigate residents’ concerns and work toward a solution. This program is free and confidential. We cover facilities in the counties of Onondaga, Oswego, Cayuga and Cortland.
