School-Based Mental Health (SBMH)

Our School-Based Mental Health Program provides mental health services right in your child’s school. The in-school model fosters early recognition of mental health needs and promotes an atmosphere that recognizes the interconnectedness between education and mental health. 
 

What is the goal of the School-Based Mental Health Program? 

For more than fifteen years, ARISE has provided School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) services by licensed clinicians. ARISE strives to increase students’ access to mental health services and match their emotional/behavioral needs with targeted, evidence-based interventions. Providing mental health treatment at school allows immediate access to services while reducing barriers to treatment, such as the lack of transportation or childcare.

How would telehealth work with my child? 

Our licensed clinicians use evidence-based practices to engage your family through secure video conferencing. We’ll use interactive technology to build a therapeutic relationship with you and your child while working on identified treatment goals. Financial considerations: We accept most insurance providers, including Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, Medicare, Tricare, and many other private insurance providers. No one will be denied access to services due to an inability to pay. We also offer a Sliding Fee Scale Program based on family size and income.
