Summer Recreation

Summer Recreation in Madison County is a summer day program open to all children, with preference given to children with developmental disabilities. We offer one-week sessions at ARISE’s 77-acre working horse farm in North Chittenango, where campers can experience biking, fishing, traditional summer activities and play on our fully inclusive playground. Our trained staff support each participant’s individual needs to maximize fun and safety. We also offer special weeks for adult participants from Oswego County and siblings of children with disabilities.

Horsemanship  in Madison County is open to all children for five weeks during the summer at ARISE at the Farm. Participants receive a daily horseback riding lesson and learn first-hand about different parts of the horse and tacking, grooming and caring for horses.
